Well folks! The time is coming again to offer the exciting Wildcrafting Colour workshop in the beautiful Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park in the Boreal Center for Bird Conservation over the first weekend in August from the 4th to the 6th. We love this workshop. It's about craft and handwork, yes, but it's also about time on the land, stewardship, environmental connectivitiy, and land intimacy. It's a long weekend in August spent on the clean, sandy beached lake with all of the content offered in the lab at the aforementioned Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation and on the land in the Boreal Forest. This year, we've budgeted in lots of down time and free evenings so that participants can take advantage of the BCBC and all it has to offer, the beach, bird banding (which actually happens early in the morning), maybe an evening fire and some knitting and hiking or walking trails in the park.
As per usual with every workshop I teach, there is a scholarship seat available. Please apply! We want that seat filled and want to see you there!
